Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw: As I've said before, I like when a game is elegantly written. I like when a game story manages to get its point across without too much expositional dialogue, ideally within gameplay, not cutscenes. I'm very much a supporter of the 'show don't tell' rule. Partly because it's boring to slog through too much dialogue at once, and partly because I like when there's room for interpretation. That's one thing (of many) that Hideo Kojima has never understood, he writes games like he spent all week working out complex profiles for all his original characters that he thinks are sooo cool and he's going to sit you down and explain them all at you until you agree. 'Fat Man' was named after the atomic bomb, was he? Thanks for sharing, Hideo.

Metal Gear Solid Remake: 10 Things That Must Remain Untouched

What Culture: It might seem greedy to expect a game to be remade twice but when its a game as brilliant as Metal Gear Solid, you can forgive fever-pitch anticipation. A while back, Hideo Kojima himself confused journalists when he seemed to state that he was actively looking for a studio to remake Metal Gear Solid using the brand spanking new Fox Engine (responsible for the amazing technical advances weve seen in Metal Gear Solid V). The world went crazy but it turned out that Kojima was simply saying he would love for someone to do it; it wasnt something he was looking into right now.

Will David Hayter Star in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain After All?

Push Square: "Metal Gear Solid overlord Hideo Kojima loves a good ruse and we reckon that hes up to his old tricks again. David Hayter, otherwise known as the voice of Solid Snake and Big Boss, may have been rather publicly replaced by 24 star Kiefer Sutherland in his familiar role, but is this just another Phantom Pain-esque troll from a developer that loves nothing more than seeing his fans squirm?"
